14mm 25mm diameter water level gauge used for convenient and accurate measurement of elevation of groundwater in boreholes, standpipes, and wells. They employ a high accuracy, NIST traceable, non-stretch, flat tape, permanently marked in 1 mm or 1/100 ft. graduations.
Water level meter is supplied on a sturdy winding reel complete with a brake and carrying handle. Features include a shrouded stainless steel probe (allows accurate level determinations under cascading water conditions), a buzzer (with adjustable volume control), and sensitivity control as standard. An optional tape guide/datum acts as a reference point and also prevents tape abrasion from the casing edge. The moisture resistant electronics and standard 9V battery are housed in the front for quick and easy access.
The system composed of sonde, ruler cable, the receiving system and reel, etc
1. Sonde: Stainless steel, inside mounted the water resistance point, when the point touch the surface, the receiving system will be turned on, when the contacts out of the water, the system will automatically turn off.
2. Ruler cable parts: together with the ruler and wires, with good function of corrosion resistance, Oil resistance, microbes resistance.
3. Receiving system: composed of the sounder and peak indication. When the sonde reach to water, the water completes an electrical circuit powered by a 9v battery, sending a signal back to the reel where a light and clearly audible buzzer are activated. The water level is then determined by taking a reading off the cable at the top of the borehole, casing or tube, and then measuring off to the nearest mark.
4. Reel: composed of wire spool and holder, the receiving system and battery are mounted inside the wire pool. Outside the wire pool, the ruler cable is on it.
