Application Case for in detection goaf of coal mine
In May 2019, CSHMT and shallow seismic reflection wave methods were used to detect the goaf in a coal mine in northern Shaanxi.
The test results show that the CSHMT is completely consistent with the shallow seismic results. The full survey line can be divided into three parts. The coal seam in the 0 ～ 120m mileage section has not been mined, and it shows obvious intermediate resistance on the magnetotelluric profile, and it shows on the seismic profile as Continuous strong reflection wave group; the coal seam is mined in the 120-420m mileage section, and the goaf has been filled with water, showing obvious low resistance on the electromagnetic profile of the earth, and a discontinuous weak reflection wave group on the seismic section; 420-480m The coal seam in the mileage section was not mined, but the coal seam spontaneously ignited, showing obvious high resistance on the electromagnetic profile of the earth, and continuous reflection wave group on the seismic profile.
