The test section of a salt mine subsidence area passes through the subsidence area in the east-west direction. The shallow low resistance is caused by the salt water entering the sand layer, and the deep low resistance is the dissolved cavity. The vertical low-resistance strip should be the channel that is caused by mining and that flows up the brine.

Transient Electromagnetic (TEM) and Time Domain Induced Polarization (TDIP) methods are very effective geophysical tools for exploration of ore or hydrocarbon deposits as well as for hydrogeological, environmental and civil engineering investigations.
