Engineering Geophysical Exploration which is based on the difference in physical properties of underground geotechnical layers (or geological bodies), and the spatial distribution of underground geological bodies is determined by instrumental observation of changes in natural or artificial physical fields ( Size, shape, depth, etc.) and can determine the physical parameters of the rock and soil, to achieve a physical exploration method to solve geological problems.

According to different exploration objects, engineering geophysical exploration technology is divided into three branches, petroleum engineering geophysical exploration, solid mining engineering geophysical exploration and hydraulic engineering geophysical exploration (referred to as engineering geophysical exploration). We called engineering geophysical exploration.
