The integrity of the pile body is a comprehensive qualitative indicator that reflects the relative changes in the section size of the pile body, the compactness and continuity of the pile material


Load capacity about  pile structure


The load capacity of the pile body structure is the bearing capacity of the pile body, which is the ability of the pile itself to bear the load as a structural member. The design is based on factors such as pile material strength, pile forming process, lifting and sinking, constraints, and environmental categories. Actually has a great relationship with the cross-section size of the pile body and the cross-section size of the reinforcement


(1) The integrity of the pile body, the load capacity of the pile body (structure), and the load capacity of the single pile (compression resistance, pullout resistance, and horizontal load capacity) are independent concepts and different evaluation items. Complex relationships are not a one-to-one correspondence.


(2) The integrity of the pile body directly affects (but is not unique to) the load capacity of the pile body (structure), and whether it further affects the load capacity of the single pile (compressive, anti-pull and horizontal bearing capacity) is not uniquely determined. Therefore, the appearance of class I or class II piles will not affect the normal performance of the load capacity of the pile body (structure), but the vertical compression, pullout and horizontal bearing capacity of the pile may not meet the design requirements; class III or class IV piles Affects the normal exertion of the load capacity of the pile body (structure), but it is possible that the vertical compression, pullout and horizontal ;load capacity of the pile can meet the design requirements. This is a normal phenomenon and is also proved by engineering examples.
